In this free class, you’ll begin to understand how to interpret the language of your baby so you can respond with greater clarity, confidence, and connection. This exploration is grounded in the lens of pre- and perinatal birth psychology, which recognizes that babies are aware, sensitive, and shaped by their earliest experiences—including pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Drawing from over 10 years of hands-on experience working with babies and supporting new mothers, I’ll guide you in noticing patterns, cues, and expressions you may not have considered before. You’ll begin to see how early experiences can influence a baby’s behavior, and how your attuned responses can support their sense of safety, regulation, and trust.
This class offers a compassionate and practical introduction to seeing babies as capable communicators from the very start. Rather than guessing or second-guessing yourself, you’ll learn to slow down, observe more deeply, and build a more connected, responsive relationship with the baby in your care.
This class is for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of babies—whether you’re a parent, expecting a baby, or a professional working with families. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a desire to connect more deeply.

Luka Barba is a mother, a postpartum care provider, somatic practitioner, and educator devoted to supporting mothers, babies, and families in the earliest stages of life.
She is a Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist specializing in moms and newborns, Pre and Perinatal / Somatic Therapist in Birth Imprints, a Certified Lactation Educator + Counselor (CLC), a Holistic Tongue Tie Specialist, a Certified Innate Postpartum Care Provider and assistant teacher. Her work is rooted in prenatal and perinatal birth psychology (APPPAH), somatic trauma resolution, and traditional postpartum practices.
Luka specializes in helping families understand baby cues and integrate birth imprints, supporting deeper connection, regulation, and generational healing.
